Leadership is the lifeblood of a group. The leader is the core of whatever potential that group holds. Most people realize that a holy man would be a leader, but the question is often put fourth: Can a holy man kick butt? The answer is simple: Yes, yes he can. First of all, the leader kicks butt indirectly. It might not seem like much, but through giving orders and keeping control over the situation, he is doing some serious damage. The Paladin is one of the best examples of this. The Paladin is a very devout man that is fervent at keeping a code of conduct while obeying God. If the Paladin strays from his path, he is punished by having all the gifts he was given taken away. A Paladin by himself is a worthy adversary, but a Paladin with a group, serving as a leader, is a deadly weapon. When taking the mantle of leadership, the holy man is taking the trust of the group and preparing to lead them to victory. Being a holy man, he will take up a support role, resorting to indirect tactics. He Issues battle orders, boosts morale, invokes courage, and smites the evil that usually runs rampant in the world. All of these qualities come with leadership. When placed in this role, the leader must rely on his own tactics, judgments, and be careful of not putting his party in trouble. This can be a hard thing to do at times, but a good leader will succeed. A team that doesn’t have any direction is crippled. A good leader will know how to bring out the true talents and skills that reside in his group. In conclusion, a holy man can lead, and while doing this, indirectly creates an environment that places him as the victor. Never underestimate one who holds faith, as it is a powerful tool.
